Downtown Park

Working in a collaborative partnership with PFS Studio, the prime consultant, and the City of Redmond, KPG’s interdisciplinary designers helped produce a unique and inviting space that has become the focal point for community functions. Notable features of the park include a Field House with semi-translucent panels that are backlit to change colors, plaza spaces, a pavilion and more than 2,000 plants. The site includes a raised lawn with wood decking to allow for better viewing of performances. KPG provided site civil engineering, site lighting, and architecture of the Field House, as well as irrigation design to support PFS Studio’s overall landscape architecture concept and design.
